MAIN CHARACTERISTICS FO THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

TUNNEL
The structure with dimensions along the edges is 11.10 x 89.75 m. It consists of 4 sections, separated from each other by expansion joints with a thickness of 30 mm. 2 sections are completely underground, 2 sections are supported by soil on both sides, the pavement is open.
GALLERY
The dimensions in the plan are 248.14 x 9.6 m. Along the length, the gallery is divided into 2 temperature blocks, each of which has one fixed support. Also, the supports are made in the form of struts swinging in the longitudinal direction, connected with each other by a system of connections.

TYPES OF WORKS COMPLETED IN THE PROCESS

OF CONSTRUCTION

  • Development, loosening of soils (group 3) for tunnel sections

  • Backfilling with pit compacting

  • Manufacture and immersion of piles under the foundations of the gallery columns, 124 pieces were made
  • Construction of scaffolding for the metal constructions of the gallery, 32 pieces were made

  • Construction of 4 sections of the tunnel with evacuation exit;

  • Installation of gallery steel structures to a height of up to 40 m,
    with a beam span of up to 35 m
  • Installation of wall and roof sandwich panels
    to a height of up to 40 m

  • Installation of flooring with topcoating

  • Installation of 146 window openings

  • Performing of works according to engineering systems (Sections CQ, VC, EO, EM, SS, SAR, TX).

DURINGTHE ENTIRE PERIOD OF CONSTRUCTION WE USED THE FOLLOWING:

Over 4000 m3 of concrete
Over 1,250 t of steel structures manufactured, supplied and installed
Installation of over 4000 m2 of flooring
Over 6000m2 different sandwich panels supplied and installed
Application of advanced methods for reclamation of disturbed lands, promoting the preservation and restoration of the natural soil layer.
